Pull for Pick-up

You can request that we pull a book from the shelf for you. The book will be at the Service Desk within 24 hours of receiving your request. This service is free to all OU faculty, staff, and students.

When to request a pull for pick-up?

If you found a book you want but you can't stop by the library today, pull for pick-up ensures that the book will be here tomorrow and that you can pick it up quickly without having to find it in the building.

How to request a pull for pick-up?

1. Go to the library catalog page listing the book you want.
2. Click on the "Make a Request" action to the right.
3. You'll be asked to log into the library catalog.
4. Choose "pull for pick-up" from the list of allowed requests.
