In person. Stop by the Reference Desk on the second floor of the Kresge Library (library map) any time it is staffed for face-to-face assistance (see library hours for special dates the library is closed).

During a Research Consultation, you'll get a 30-45 minute one-on-one session with a librarian who will help you develop a research strategy to identify resources relevant to your topic/interests.

Please use our reference question form to submit your email reference questions. You can also email us directly at ref@oakland.edu. Questions received during hours the Reference Desk is open are usually answered within 2 hours of being received. Questions received when the desk is not open will be answered as soon as possible the next day the reference desk is open.
