Mission

The mission of Access Services is to connect the University Libraries' users to its collections, services and spaces, in support of teaching, learning, research and public service at Oakland University.

Further, the Access Services Team collaborates with other work teams in the library to bring a high level of responsive customer service and ease of access for all users. The team of dedicated staff provides service in two primary areas, 1) Circulation and Reserves and 2) Library Resource Sharing.

Circulation and Reserves

The Circulation and Reserves Team provides access to all of the University Libraries' collections, study spaces and other services. The team is committed to prompt and accurate re-shelving of all materials.

Library Resource Sharing

The Library Resource Sharing Team provides access to loans and articles from a nationwide network of lending libraries thereby expanding the scholarly resources available to the libraries' patrons.
