Services Provided:

My role as librarian is primarily to serve Oakland University students, faculty and staff by providing personal research assistance, and by teaching information literacy concepts, processes and skills both in the classroom (physical and virtual) and one-on-one. Additionally, I am liaison librarian for collection development and faculty/student research services to English, Cinema Studies, Writing and Rhetoric, Biological Sciences and Chemistry. I also serve as the Library's liaison to the Honors College. I am available for office hours by appointment.

Research Interests:

How changes in information technology, in information seeking behaviors and in library practice and pedagogy affect the manner in which students and faculty deal with information overload; functional epistemology of researchers in different disciplines, including perceptions of information overload; literature and literary criticism.
