The Kresge Library will unveil its new 802.11b wireless network, the newest part of the campus wireless network, Grizznet, on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 3pm in the student lounge. Laptop computers will be set up for demonstrations of both the wireless network and the Kresge Library's live, online Ask a Librarian reference service. Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Virinder Moudgil, the library's own Dean Elaine Didier, as well as Assistant Vice President for University Technology Services Theresa Rowe will be present to discuss the campus wireless network and the addition of wireless service in the library. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
The wireless network can be accessed from all four floors of the library and in front of the library as far as the seating around the the “Saints and Sinners” fountain.
