Oakland University to Host the Tournées French Film Festival 2008

Oakland is one of several American universities selected to participate in the Tournées French Film Festival -- a French American Cultural Exchange grant program.

This year the festival is co-sponsored by the Oakland University Alumni Association.

Six films will be shown free of charge on six consecutive Sundays at 2 pm in 124 Wilson Hall on Oakland's campus. All films will be in French with English subtitles. The festival is open to the public.

January 13, 2008: “Les amities malefiques/Poison Friends”

January 20, 2008: “Comme une image/Look at Me”

January 27, 2008: “Au-dela de la haine/Beyond Hatred”

February 3, 2008: “Clean”

February 10, 2008:“L’ ivresse du pouvoir/Comedy of Power”

February 17, 2008: “Il est plus facil pour un chameau…/It’s easier for a camel…”
