Research with LexisNexis

« Searching for news

LexisNexis offers full text access to newspapers, magazines, trade journals, newsletters, news wires, and transcripts. News sources are never scholarly, but they can give you up-to-date information on current events. In addition to general news information, you can limit your searches to either legal news or business news.

« Searching for legal information

In LexisNexis, you can search for legal information such as court decisions, legal codes, legal news, and law journals. The coverage includes information both at the state level and at the federal level. You can easily verify if a court case has been overturned by using Shepard's® Citations.

« Searching for business information

LexisNexis offers access to financial and business information for specific companies. The most commonly used sources include Hoover's Company Reports, S&P Corporate Descriptions, American Markeplace, and Tax Analysts Publications.
