The Oakland University Department of English is proud to present A Reading and book signing with Marge Piercy. The event will take place Friday, October 18 at 4 p.m. in room 201 Dodge Hall. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served following the reading.

A Detroit native, Marge Piercy is the author of over 35 books of fiction and poetry. The recipient of several awards, among them the National Endowment for the Arts Award for science fiction, this prolific writer creates work that merges the personal with the political to reach the consciousness of readers everywhere.
