Additional LGBTQA resources on campus: The Gender and Sexuality Center The GSC is Oakland University's women's resource center and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and ally (LGBTQA) resource center. S.A.F.E. (Students, Administrators & Faculty for Equality) On Campus consists of a dedicated team of students, administrators and faculty members who are committed to providing a safe haven, a listening ear, and support for anyone dealing with issues related to sexual orientation or gender identity. Women and Gender Studies Program Women and Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary field devoted to the description and analysis of women’s experiences in historical and contemporary societies while paying particular attention to differences among women in various social and cultural contexts, including the representation of women in literature, art and media. Graham Counseling Center The Oakland University Counseling Center, located in the Graham Health Center has been serving the students and staff of the university for over 30 years. Counseling is provided by Licensed Psychologists and Interns. The Gaylor Collection, located in the GLBT Literature and Resource Center (Kresge Library 106), consists of almost 3000 titles focusing on gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or trangendered individuals or lifestyles.
