Biographical note
Dr. Richard Stamps was a professor of sociology and anthropology at Oakland University from 1974 until his retirement in fall 2012. He was a dedicated teacher who led summer study tours to China and conducted archeological research at local historical sites.
Scope and Contents note
This collection consists of miscellaneous materials donated by Richard Stamps that document various aspects of his career at Oakland University, especially his interest in student internships and support for diversity and equity.
