Citation Management Software
Kresge Library subcriptions include free access for the OU community to both RefWorks and EndNote Web. Both are web based citation management systems that allow you to create a personal database of references for your research projects, generate a bibliography
from your list of references and automatically format these in any common citation style.
You can export citations directly from databases, organize your citations into folders,
share citations and folders with colleagues or students and much more.
Also available is the free Firefox extension Zotero, which lives in your brower and
functions much like itunes.
Consult our Citations Tools page for more information and a comparison of the different tools features.
If you would like personalized training, please contact the Faculty Research Support Librarian or your library liaison.
Citation Formatting Assistance
Kresge Library provides links to quick reference citation guides under the tutorials link for the top citation styles, as well as additional writing resources. Consult the Writing Resources for Students page for additional information.
The Writing Center, housed in Kresge Library, can provide one-on-one help with formating papers and bibliographies. Consultations are available for faculty as well as students.
