Microcard Readers
How to Use the Microcard Readers
- Go to the reader on the left (the one on the right unfortunately does not appear to be working properly).
- Flip the switch on the front of the reader to "Press for Print."
- Pull the silver handle of the glass tray forward and lift it up.
- Place the microcard face down with the header at the bottom (closest to you)
between
the two pieces of glass.
- Adjust the focus using the black knob on the right side of the reader.
- You can move around on the microcard by moving the silver handle of the glass try from the
front
to the back
and side to side.
If you find something on a microcard that you wish to print, you will need to use the scanner in the Kresge Computer Lab on the first floor (Room 130). Click here for instructions.
