1. Go to http://library.oakland.edu (or from the OU web page click on Library).
2. Click on the Voyager Library Catalog.
3. Click on Course Reserve.
4. Select Instructor (e.g. Hamilton, Bill) and Course (e.g. MTH 121). Ignore the Department and Section options, leaving Any in the boxes.
5. Click Search.
6. Select the item you wish to access (.e.g. Old Exams, MTH 121, Fall 1999). Be sure the selected item is an Electronic Item.
7. Click on the Internet Link for the material that you wish to view. (note that login is required).
8. Supply the Barcode (on the back of your student ID card beneath the barcode) and your Last Name; then click on Login.
9. Click on the Internet Link for the material that you wish to view. Your browser will utilize the Adobe Acrobat Reader Plug-in. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, please go to:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
where you will be able to download an executable file that you can run and install on your computer.
You can also print or save the item by clicking on the appropriate icon.
To save:
Click on the disc icon.
Under the Save In (look up box), select the destination (e.g.
your hard drive, disk drive or desktop).
Under File Name, give a name to your file (8 characters max).
Under Save as Type, choose "Acrobat (*.pdf)."
Finally, click on Save.
