Solicitation and Petitions in the Library

 

The primary purpose of the Kresge Library’s facilities is to support academic library-related services, instruction, resources, and student study spaces. 

 

For this reason, the Library does not typically approve requests made by individuals or groups to circulate non-library-related petitions or to make solicitations within its spaces. 

 

 

Some exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis if the request is associated with a University-approved charitable or public-service activity. Persons seeking information about petitioning and solicitation on campus are encouraged to consult OU Policy #415 on Distribution and Solicitation on Campus.
