Medical Library Procedures
Oakland University is in the process of adding a School of Medicine. The School of Medicine will have its own medical library. Kresge Library's Technical Services unit will be responsible for the acquisitions and cataloging of all of the medical library's materials. The following procedures reflect that for now the medical library's materials will be integrated into Kresge Library's materials. However, in the future there will undoubtedly be a separate medical library in a separate building. Thus, the procedures reflect the long-term desire to be able to separate medical library materials from Kresge Library materials.
Acquisitions Procedures
- Every book bound for the medical library will have a pale purple flag in it.
