Cataloging Procedure for Gift Collections and Adopt A Book Materials.
All records for gift collections and materials purchased
through the Adopt A Book gift donation (see Kresge Library's home page) will
have a 590 note field added.
Procedure for collections
1. Add a 590 constructed thusly:
Kresge Library Gift Book: [Gift collection]
Example
590 Kresge Library Gift Book: Bingham Historical Children's Book Collection
2. If the material has been purchased through the Adopt A Book
program the 590 is constructed thusly:
Kresge Library Adopt a Book: [Personalized Statement from donor or as it appears on the bookplate]
