September 18, 1958
Mr. May and Mr. Varner presented proposal covering the possible
financing of a building at MSU-O to provide dining and study
facilities for the students there. The Oakland County Board
of Supervisors is underwriting part of the cost of this building,
and it is proposed that the balance of the cost be underwritten
by the pledging of student fees collected from students at
MSU-O for the purpose of financing this building. If the project
is approved, it is recommended that the Swanson Associates
be employed to complete plans and specifications.
On motion by Mr. Harlan, seconded by Mr. Brody, it was
voted to approve the above recommendation. (p.
