Welcome Message from the Dean

Dean, Libraries

Welcome to the Kresge Library and the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine Library!

The University Libraries, located at the heart of OU’s beautiful campus, are key centers of learning in our educational community, providing access to scholarly information, research support, and computing and study facilities. Here at the Libraries and through our extensive Web sites, you'll find important services and resources to help you meet your academic and research goals.

This year, we're excited to announce that the Kresge Library is now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for those with current OU ID cards. Our Libraries provide access to a robust collection of online journals, print materials, and multimedia resources, and offer high-quality research support from expert librarians to help you discover, access, and use information effectively. The Kresge Library also has a mobile site available to help you search our collection on the go.

Just as networked systems and digital information have transformed our society, you'll discover that we continue to hone our services, collections, and facilities in responsive, creative ways so that we can meet your information and research needs. We hope you'll consider the Library to be your information guide, educational partner, and source of quality scholarship and learning during your time at OU.

We are proud to be of service as the University's original "sharing platform," and wish you a very successful academic year!  Please let us know how we can assist you.

Yours truly,

Adriene Lim
