Kresge Library - A teaching library with an oustanding student-centered information literacy program
InfoPass

An InfoPass is an document which may be obtained at the Kresge Library Reference Desk (or, if you are a student at another University, the Reference Desk of your University Library) that will allow you to borrow items from the SEMLOL Infopass Participating Libraries. It is issued by a librarian to any university member (student, staff, or faculty) when the librarian determines that there are not adequate resources located in the Kresge Library to meet someone's research requirements. An InfoPass may be issued to allow a someone to get a specific book or item from another library, or be used to get additional research help for a patron from a subject specialist at another library. Below is an example of the InfoPass in use among the participating Michigan libraries as of March 22, 2003.
