The Women and Gender Studies Program 28th Annual Film Festival

After the film: A lively facilitated panel discussion (with Q & A) led by Professor Wren of Health Sciences. Panel Participants: Dr. Kathy Battles, State Senator Gretchen Whitmer, Rochelle Riley and Ann Blessman.

Empowerment Expo: In conjunction with the festival, the WGS department is hosting a mini "Empowerment Expo" for organizations working in the community for the empowerment of girls and the support and mentoring of women.

Event Sponsors: Communication and Journalism Department, Modern Languages and Literature Department, Philosophy Department, Political Science Department, Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work Department, School of Business Administration, School of Education and Human Services, and Health Sciences Program
