The Annual Sigma Xi Initiation and Dinner featuring
Sharon Glotzer—
“Computational Nanoscience: Designing Materials from the Bottom Up”

12/3/12

The Annual Sigma Xi Initiation and Dinner will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2003. The initiation and dinner will be preceded by a presentation by guest speaker Sharon Glotzer, Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Macromolecular Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. The lecture by Dr. Glotzer is free and open to the public and will be in 201 Dodge Hall (campus map), starting at 4 pm. Afterwards, the Center for Biomedical Research is hosting a reception/poster session just outside the lecture room. For more information about the Sigma Xi dinner that will follow Dr. Glotzer's presentation, see Sigma Xi Initiation and Dinner.

Dr. Goltzer was the winner of the 2000 American Physical
Society Maria Goeppert-Mayer Award
and was director and co-founder of the Center for Theoretical and Computational Materials Science at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
