Philosopher's Index
Bibliographic database of abstracts covering scholarly research in all areas of philosophy. The literature covered goes back to 1940 and includes journal articles (550 journals), books, book chapters such as contributions to an anthology, and book reviews.
JSTOR
A database of hundreds of full-text journals in a variety of subject areas, including art history, literature, and anthropology.
Historical Abstracts
Leading bibliographic database for historical study. Includes articles, books, dissertations about the history of the world since 1450.
History Cooperative
Contains full-text articles from twelve history journals for the past few years.
Lexis-Nexis
Excellent place to find current newspaper articles. Indexes full-text articles for most major papers.
