Library Catalog

Library Catalog

Use the catalog to find books we have in the Kresge Library. Also use the catalog to see if we have access to a particular journal title on-line or in print.

Databases

Use these databases to find articles from the periodical literature: scholarly, practitioner and trade journals.

ABI/Inform is one of the premier databases for the literature of business, management and related fields--including careers and human resources. Publications include scholarly business journals as well as trade and practitioner journals, with over 80% full text content.

Business Source Premier is another excellent business database which in addition to periodical articles includes full-text company and industry information important for job-seekers and people planning their careers.

PsycInfo is the most comprehensive index to psychology and related disciplines including counseling, industrial and business psychology, and training and development. It indexes primarily scholarly articles from peer-reviewed journal but also includes some practitioner journals.

Mental Measurements Yearbook indexes different psychological tests, including critical reviews and references to further literature. This can be a valuable source for locating tests for career development purposes. It covers MMY from the 9th edition on. Previous editions of MMY are found on the Test Reviews index table in the reference area, as are all editions of Tests in Print.

ERIC the comprehensive database for the field of education by its nature has a significant representation of career development literature. It is divided into journal articles from scholarly and practitioner journals, and ERIC documents which include books, conference papers, research reports, curricula--a wide and heterogeneous body of literature.
