Use the catalog to find books we have in the Kresge Library. Also use the catalog to see if we have access to a particular journal title on-line or in print.

MELCAT
Allows you to search for books from other Michigan Libraries and request them on Interlibrary Loan.

Interlibrary Loans via ILLIAD
Use ILL if we don't have your article electronically or in-print and we'll find the item for you from another library. It's free but takes a little time.

Databases

ABI/Inform is one of the best databases for human resources and communication. Publications include scholarly, trade, and practitioner journals.

Business Source Premier covers a broad scope - includes academic journals, trade publications, magazines, books, market research reports, and product reviews.

ERIC is the standard database for resources in education including journal articles from research/scholarly and practitioner literature.

Communication Studies: SAGE Full-Text
Scholarly full-text articles, can cross search with other disciplines. .

PsycINFO provides access to international literature in psychology and related disciplines such as psychiatry, education, business, medicine, nursing, pharmacology, law, linguistics, and social work.

Lexis-Nexis
Excellent place to find current newspaper articles. Indexes full-text articles for most major papers. Follow these steps to locate articles or reviews from major papers in the US.

• Click on Power Search
• Under Select Sources select U.S. Newspapers & Wires
• Enter your search keywords using search connectors.
