German Literature - 18th Century
To find books about a particular author search the author’s name (last name first) as a SUBJECT in the Library Catalog, e.g. Goethe, Johann Wolfgang von.
Generally speaking, books about the author’s life and work will be under the name heading; books of criticism about the author’s works are found under the sub-heading Criticism and interpretation, e.g. Goethe Johann Wolfgang von --- Criticism and interpretation.
Circulating books may be found by call number on the third floor; reference books are found in the second floor, south wing.
Check the bibiographies in relevant books for additional sources of information.
All journals are listed in the catalog under the Journal title with links to full text if available or call numbers for print copies.
