Academic OneFile - Because of its size and breadth, Academic OneFile is the best place to go if you only need a few good articles. This huge database contains many scholarly articles.
Education:SAGE Full-Text - Here you'll find the contents of several full-text journals from SAGE including the American Educational Research Journal.
Psychology: SAGE Full-Text - Contains full-text access to numerous psychology journals including Clinical Child Psychology and Psychiatry.
Dissertation Abstracts - Find out if there are any dissertations written on your topic!

Cambridge Encyclopedia of Child Development (2005) - Find information on developmental theories and current research on all aspects of child development and parenting.
Elsevier's Dictionary of Psychological Theories (2006) - The dictionary contains terms covering the origination, development, and evolution of various psychological concepts, as well as the historical definition, analysis, and criticisms of psychological concepts.
Encyclopedia of Applied Psychology (2004) - An authoritative publication that reviews and evaluates the numerous applications of professional psychology.
Philosophy of Education: An Encyclopedia (1996) - See the diversity of topics that contribute to the study of the philosophy of education.
