Tests in Print

This print source provides a very through list of tests and measurements used in education and psychology. It used to be published by well-known Buros Institute of Mental Measurements and still acts as an index to Mental Measurements Yearbook today. REF LB 3051 .A1 B83.

 

ETS Textlink

"The Test Collection at ETS is a database of more than 25,000 tests and other measurement devices most of which were created by authors outside ETS. It makes information on standardized tests and research instruments available to researchers, graduate students and teachers."

Mental Measurements Yearbook

This is the premier source for test reviews. The online version contains volumes 9-17, while the print version contains all 17 volumes. Print: REF LB 1131 .A1 B932.

PsycInfo

Indexes journal articles, books, and dissertations on all psychological topics including tests and measurements.

ERIC

ERIC stands for Educational Resources Information Center. A good source of information on educational tests and measurements.

ABI/Inform

A great database in the business field. Includes a lot of material on career counseling.

Test Critiques

A print source containing excellent reviews of tests. REF BF 176 .T419, volumes 1-10.

Focuses on career change, high growth jobs, and re-training. This colorful website is developed by the U.S. government.

Occupational Outlook Handbook

Search the database or browse the index of the latest version of the Bureau of Labor Statistics' handbook of career and occupation information. For hundreds of occupations, the Handbook provides information on working conditions, employment statistics, job outlook, average salaries, and training.
