Library Catalog

Use the Library Catalog to find books and journals, both print and online. For example, Art Bulletin is available on the 4th floor under the call number N 11 .C4. In addition, this journal is available online through Academic OneFile.

Databases & Indexes

1. Art Abstracts - A good place to find articles and reports in all aspects of art. Coverage: 1984-present. For older material, use the print Art Index found in the reference collection, Ref N 1 .A1 A78.
2. WorldCat - Good comprehensive database for hard-to-find items.
3. Academic OneFile - Because of its size and breadth, Academic OneFile is the best place to go if you only need a few good articles. This huge database contains many scholarly articles.
4. Arts & Humanities Search - Indexes the world's leading arts and humanities journals. Coverage: 1980 - present.
5. Historical Abstracts - Guide to the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada).
6. JSTOR & Project MUSE - These two are great collections of scholarly, full-image articles.
7. Scipio - art and rare book catalogs.
