A Rhetorician's Guide to the Library's Moodle Course
After your students come to the library for their scheduled face-to-face instruction, they need to complete the library's Moodle course. Once they log into Moodle (at http://moodle.oakland.edu), they will see all of their courses, including your WRT 160 section. They will also see a separate course called WRT Library Instruction.
Once they enter the library course they will see the Tutorials listed in Section 3. The students must complete the Library Tutorials in order to obtain the password for the Final Exam.
To monitor your students' progress, you can access our gradebook. When you log into Moodle, go into the Library course (please let me know if you have any problems logging into the course). Look to the left, under "Administration" and you will see "Grades:"

The gradebook has all of the students of all WRT 160 sections in it. There are two steps to getting your classes' detailed information. First, click on the link labeled "Show Groups" -- if you see instead in this spot a link labeled "Hide Groups," just continue on to the next step.
A dropdown menu will appear at the top left of the gradebook. Select your CRN from the list:

There are a maximum of 25 points possible on the Final Exam. Please note that the Library Final Exam will be done at the end of their session with the librarian. Should the students listed under your CRN not be correct (i.e., there are extras, or some students are missing), please contact me.
