Kresge Library is now proud to offer a wide selection of the most popular and widely referenced computer programming and information management books online through Safari E-books. With nearly 90 titles covering a range of topics and programming languages, you can read the books on your topic, or search the full text (including code fragments) of the entire set to find the exact reference that will solve your coding problems. You either log directly into the Safari E-Books site and begin searching for relevant material, or browse the books in our collection by selecting the "My Bookshelf" tab. All of our Safari ebooks are also listed in our Library Catalog (which should always be your first stop to look for books that Kresge has, whether in print or online). Take a look at the current selection of Safari Technical Ebooks in the Library Catalog. Click on the title of the book you want to read, and then follow the "Internet Link".

Please select the "Log Out" option in the upper-right hand corner of the screen when you are done with your book(s). We currently are only allowed one user at a time, and if you forget to log out, you will be considered an active user for another 30 minutes (preventing anyone else, even yourself, from coming back in to look at a book).
