Michicard
The Michicard program allows you to check out books from any Michicard participating library as long as your home library is also a participant. Oakland is a Michicard member, so as an OU student, you can check out materials from Michicard participating libraries.
To find Michicard participating libraries, click on this page, then click on the library link. Once you click on the library link, you can see if that libary is a Michicard member.
If you are an OU student and want to check out material from another library, stop by the Circulation Desk at Kresge Library and ask to have a Michicard sticker added to your Grizzly ID card. You can then check out materials from many Michicard libraries, however, you need to return the items back to those libraries as well. However, if you want to borrow materials from Auburn Hills Public Library, you will first need to get a Rochester Hills Public Library Card.
However, if you are from another library and want to check out material from Kresge Library, we need to verify that your library is a Michicard member. Some Michicard libraries no longer have stickers, so you don't need a sticker on your own library card. Just bring your local library card to Kresge Library, and we can verify that your local library is a Michicard member.
